CoachingHuge thanks to Mark and the team at bikerides.com.au for helping the Manly team make it to Fiji to compete in the Cure Kids - Race to Survive event in 2006. This event included 5 days of swimming, running, outrigging and mountain-biking. Most of the Manly team had limited experience in any of these disciplines but had 16 weeks to learn. Mark was instrumental in getting the team on their bikes and learning the skills of mountain-biking. Without his guidance and willingness to answer even the most simple of questions, the team may not have realised their dream of completing the event. Mark is extremely thorough, knowledgeable and patient when it comes to instructing beginner bikers and his obvious passion for the sport rubs off on his recruits. Mark's willingness was greatly appreciated.
